# Connect inConcept to ChatGPT

Turn on Developer mode, create an app with inConcept's address, and sign in with your inConcept account.

## The address

This is the address you paste into Claude or ChatGPT. It is the same for everyone: you choose your own account when you sign in.

```
https://inconcept.ai/api/mcp
```

## For yourself

Plus and Pro. Not available on Free.

1. Open ChatGPT, go to settings, then Apps, and turn on Developer mode under Advanced.
2. Go back to Apps and click Create.
3. Name it inConcept, paste the address below as the MCP Server URL, choose OAuth under Authentication and click Create.
4. Sign in with your inConcept account and click Allow.
5. Done. Pick inConcept in a new conversation and ask for a text. ChatGPT asks before every change.

## For your organisation

Business, Enterprise and Edu. On ChatGPT Business or Enterprise an admin creates the connection. Then everyone connects their own account.

1. An admin turns on Developer mode in the workspace settings for whoever may create connections.
2. Go to Apps, click Create, name it inConcept, paste the address below and choose OAuth.
3. Each member connects their own account on first use: sign in with inConcept and Allow.

## Then

Start a new conversation and ask for a text. What inConcept can do from the conversation is in the [overview](/en/docs/claude-and-chatgpt). Disconnect in Claude or ChatGPT itself, or in inConcept in your account, under Claude and ChatGPT.

## If it does not work

- **You do not see Developer mode.** Not on Free. On Business and Enterprise the admin turns it on for whoever may use it. OpenAI moves the switch now and then: search the settings for Developer mode.
- **Authentication does not offer OAuth.** Choose OAuth, not an API key. inConcept works with an ordinary sign-in.
- **ChatGPT keeps asking for confirmation.** That is how Developer mode works: ChatGPT asks before every change.
- **ChatGPT does not know a new capability yet.** Refresh the app in the settings or create it again.
